This phenomenon can only happen during the full Moon phase. During a lunar eclipse, the Moon is immersed in the Earth&#8217;s shadow cone, therefore the light from the Sun no longer reaches its surface directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A partial lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon partially enters the Earth&#8217;s shadow. In contrast, a total lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon completely enters the Earth&#8217;s shadow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/IiDzdv39OE6vh_PlNnGL-bbh-8rFwXMUt_sLI8Xm1keMHdTdXk1H7MO6BExdLg2lJjRuuzXzqQlmUT5JU0N01kYu68GwdMnXQmFwBnLWkY_R5fOWRhju84WKJk60aEbXcdqFIAmWRlmgUYLp19xiqrs\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The partial lunar eclipse of 28 Oct 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A partial lunar eclipse will take place on 28 Oct 2023 visible from different regions of Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, Much of South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic, Antarctica. However, only 6% of the lunar disc will be covered by the Earth&#8217;s shadow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This eclipse can be observed throughout Spain during the early hours of the night on October 28, 2023.
